Each order consists of two distinct components:
The intake & processing service is performed immediately upon order confirmation and is deemed fully delivered at that time. It is non-refundable in all circumstances.
The intake fee is $30 (approximately £24 / €28, converted at checkout based on current exchange rates).
Any refund eligibility applies only to the Analysis & Reporting Service component and only where analysis has not yet commenced, as defined in this policy.
Refunds are only available prior to service commencement (as defined below).
The service is considered to have started at the earliest of:
Once any of the above occurs, the service is deemed to have commenced and is no longer eligible for cancellation.
DN46 Labs Ltd (trading as Genetase) processes genetic data in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including UK GDPR. Intake processing begins immediately upon order confirmation to enable secure handling, validation, and preparation of data for analysis.
The service is delivered in multiple stages, including data ingestion, validation, annotation, prioritisation, and manual review, with timing that may vary depending on system demand, data complexity, and processing load, and delays or pauses between stages do not constitute service interruption or reversal of commencement.
Once analysis begins, the Analysis & Reporting Service is considered commenced and is no longer refundable.
No pro-rata or partial refunds are provided once any part of the service has been performed.
During the launch phase, due to the manual and research-intensive nature of the service, capacity may be limited. To maintain quality standards, order intake may be temporarily paused, queued, or delayed depending on demand. Where necessary, we may not be able to accept all orders immediately.
Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:
A full refund will be issued where the service cannot be delivered due to reasons within our control, including:
Time spent in queue or awaiting processing after commencement is considered part of service delivery and does not in itself entitle the user to a refund.
Refunds may be issued at our discretion in other exceptional circumstances, including:
If the uploaded file is corrupted, incomplete, of insufficient quality, or in an unsupported format, we will make reasonable efforts to assist with re-upload or correction.
Where the file cannot be analysed for these reasons, and a valid replacement is not provided, or the user declines or fails to cooperate with reasonable support requests, a partial refund may be issued at our discretion. In such cases, a $30 processing fee will be retained to cover time spent on data validation, initial processing, and support.
